Every year about 3000 science graduates from different universities and institutes appear for Master
of Computer Science and Applications (MCA) entrance test at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh. Out of these students, the top
2% are the ones who eventually get admitted to MCA course. There is no management quota, no reservation for muslims, no capitation fee etc. Sheer merit counts. The stringent admission process in AMU ensures selection of appropriately qualified, motivated and meritorious students.
The passing out of the 26
batch of students of the MCA (2008-2011) is a matter of considerable satisfaction and the profiles of all the students of this outgoing batch are available through the links provided on this site.
Information Technology (IT) and Software Industry is the order of the day and India's contribution to it is widely recognized. For this reason, as for many others, this new batch of students of Master of Computer Science and Applications would be stepping into an exciting world of IT and will undoubtedly carve out a niche in their career.
Maturity beyond age, thoroughly practical oriented training and modernity, without departing from roots - these are the values being maintained and consciously promoted at AMU. Developing and nurturing young talented individuals with both a thorough academic grounding and a "hands on" feel for the industry that they seek to enter is a primary concern of the department. They are adequately sensitized in the context of this "Information Technology Era" and made confident to be the world class IT professionals - willing to face the challenges of the dynamic environment.
The students are some of the best that any other institution has to offer and therefore a recruiter should not miss these talented individuals, giving them full opportunity to prove their worth.
